Hi folks!
Welcome to the first official blog posting! It's official. My first year of graduate school is complete, summer has finally made the scene, and my head is still a lil' swollen from the vast knowledge and experiences of the Student Affairs practitioner I am to become. (^_^)
As I look back, I think of some of the people who influenced the person who created this blog:

These individuals have, in one way or another, encouraged me, challenged me, and supported me in everything I do and everything I am destined to do. I have a plethora of other influential folks within my professional and personal life, but that would be too many names for one blog post. (^_^)

- Hi folks! Hmmmmm...where to start? I'm a graduate student at the University of Florida (Go Gators!) pursuing a degree in Student Personnel in Higher Education and I'm absolutely loving my experience! Fell in love with my Resident Assistant position at Clemson University (Go Tigers!) and decided to make it into my career, and here I am at UF. One year of my program down, one more to go! Excitement! Currently, I am the 2010 ACUHO-I Summer Intern for the Freshmen College Summer Experience at the University of Georgia! (For those who don't know, ACUHO-I stands for the Association of College and University Housing Officers-International, and it's the national organization for University Housing and and Residence Life professionals.) UGA is something new, adventurous, and enticing for me. I'm sure I will enjoy every minute of my summer internship experience! What's in store for me? We shall soon find out! (^_^)
